Meet Lyn and Graham Wheaton, the friendly hosts and owners of Stranraer Homestead. As Kangaroo Island locals, Lyn and Graham have a deep passion for their community and are committed to sharing the island’s rich history and natural beauty with visitors from around the world.
The Property
Built in 1920 with restoration completed in 1998, Stranraer Homestead is set on 1290 hectares of working property, producing prime lamb, wool and grain. It has two large, bird filled lagoons surrounded by hummocks, beautiful scenery and wildlife.
