Owners Lyn and Graham Wheaton invite you to experience the warm hospitality and charming ambiance of their historic federation homestead. Built in 1920 from limestone found on the property, the homestead has been meticulously restored to its former glory, providing a glimpse of the authentic Kangaroo Island lifestyle.

The Property
Built in 1920 with restoration completed in 1998, Stranraer Homestead is set on 1290 hectares of working property, producing prime lamb, wool and grain. It has two large, bird filled lagoons surrounded by hummocks, beautiful scenery and wildlife.
