Stranraer Homestead, Kangaroo Island
Built in 1920 with restoration completed in 1998, Stranraer Homestead is set on 1290 hectares of working property, producing prime lamb, wool and grain. It has two large, bird filled lagoons surrounded by hummocks, beautiful scenery and wildlife.

Stranraer Homestead offers a country experience with peace and tranquility. The homestead’s central location on the island makes it convenient for exploring local highlights, natural beauty and wildlife.

Meals are provided for guests in the formal dining room and guests are given individual service.

Relax in the guest lounge after a day of touring or in the comfort of your spacious room.

Enjoy a walk, or bird-watching, or chat with other guests and share the days’ experiences.

The Stranraer Homestead kitchen not only provides fine cuisine but remains the heart of the house for guests to enjoy.
